Although August is halfway over, I just wanted to remind you that Body Beast & TurboFire are ON SALE this month. As you probably know, these are two of Beacbody’s most popular challenge packs. Their creators, Challene Johnson and Sagi Kalev are ready to help you reach your fitness goals.
So how do you decide which one is right for you. I know that Beachbody is promoting it as “Beauty and the Beast”, which is catchy and good for marketing, but women can do Body Beast. In fact in some cases I would recommend it over TurboFire.
Don’t get my wrong there is nothing wrong with TurboFire. What I mean to say is that the best way to force your body to adapt (ie. Make progress) is to put it in a situation that you are not used to. Chances are if you have been doing predominately cardio based programs, then a strength based program like Body Beast could be just what you need to break through a plateau.
Will Body Beast Make a Woman Bulk Up?
Honestly, It is almost not worth answering that question, but no matter how much information is out there people always ask. The simple answer is a straight forward no. Lifting heavy does not make a woman bulk up. Women posses 1/20th the testosterone that men do. Think about how hard it is for some men to bulk up, now multiply that by 20, and you have an idea of how silly the question is.
The truth of the matter is you need strength training in your workouts. When you are dieting the body has to find the calories somewhere. Strength training is your way of telling your body hat you need that muscle for the next workout. This will force your body to reconsider and get the fuel elsewhere.
Now is the time to get the Body Beast Challenge Pack. Take advantage of this month’s sale, and challenge yourself to get in the best shape of your life.
